WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene)

Our WASH interventions aim to improve community health, dignity, and resilience through sustainable access to safe water, proper sanitation, and hygiene education. We promote hygiene in both schools and communities using Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) approaches, fostering long-term behavior change. To improve sanitation infrastructure, we construct latrines and bathrooms for schools and communities, and distribute essential WASH facilities such as latrine slabs.

Recognizing the unique needs of girls, we prioritize Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) by providing education, dignity kits, and training teachers and Parent-Teacher Associations on menstrual health. We also empower girls to produce reusable sanitary napkins, ensuring affordable and sustainable menstrual solutions. Through these integrated efforts, we help create healthier learning environments, reduce preventable diseases, and promote inclusive community well-being.
